Cohen Industrial Supply Co. can provide you with many varities of ductile iron pipe fittings specifically designed to fit multiple pipeline and service installations.
We supply ductile iron pipe fittings in flanged, mechanical joint, Victaulic and restrained that come in sizes 3”-64”.
At Cohen Industrial Supply Co., we supply a complete line of 3″ through 64″ mechanical joint fittings that is within the requirements and standards of ANSI/AWWA C110/A21.10 or ANSI/AWWA C153/A21.53, with the joint following the requirements of ANSI/AWWA C111/A21.11.
In underground service, mechanical joint fittings have been used extensively with push on joint pipe as well as mechanical joint pipe.
Ductile Iron Pipe Fittings
Mechanical joint fittings are designed for use with pipe with standard outside diameters for mechanical joint, push on joint pipe. Any old existing pipeline should be carefully checked for its outside diameter before a mechanical joint connection is made as special adapters or special connections may have to be considered.
Cohen provides joint connections for mechanical joints such as glands, rubber gaskets, and tee-head alloy steel bolts with heavy hex nuts. We also maintain a good inventory of restrained mechanical joint restraining glands for a superior restrained mechanical joint fitting.
All gland accessory packs can also be furnished with 304 or 316 SS T Head bolts and nuts in lieu of standard steel bolts. Special gasket can also be included such as EPDM and Viton.
Additionally, Cohen also supplies a complete line of flanged fittings that are also used on water and wastewater projects throughout the country. Size range is also 3”-64” and our inventory in Houston is always stocked with popular sizes as well and those hard to find items.
In general, water and wastewater service fittings are lined with cement in accordance with AWWA C104 and coated with asphalt outside. We also can furnish special linings such as FBE, Protecto 401 and Cerrampire PL90 for superior corrosion resistance ability.
