YOUR FULL SERVICE SHOP FOR ALL WATER AND WASTEWATER PIPING NEEDS
YOUR FULL SERVICE SHOP FOR ALL WATER AND WASTEWATER PIPING NEEDS
Since 1989, Cohen Industrial Supply Co. is one of the fastest growing independent pipe fabrication and distribution companies in America. We are a full-service supplier of ductile iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, and PVC pipe, valves, and fittings serving contractors in the water, wastewater, and petrochemical industries.
Why us
From material takeoff to final billing, Cohen is truly a one-stop shop for all of your water and wastewater piping needs. We provide a turn-key scope of supply consisting of every single bolt, nut, gasket, pipe, valve, fitting, support, etc. to complete a job. We perform all of our fabrication services in-house in accordance with AWWA standards and our shops have been certified by SPFA and NSF-61.
Over our 30+ year history, we have worked hard to form relationships with contractors as well as the engineers and governing bodies that employ them. Cohen’s staff is filled with some of the country’s top estimators, project managers, procurement specialists, and supply chain experts. We understand the bidding and estimating process that contractors go through competing for a job, and provide full-service take-offs and quotes using the plans and specifications formulated by these same groups. Cohen is happy to serve as a liaison between engineers and contractors to ensure all submittals and post-bid requirements are clearly defined.

WILL COHEN WORK WITH MY BUSINESS?
Our specialties include the supply of product for:
We can ship anywhere in the USA. Freight charges will be communicated at time of quote. We are more than willing to supply and fabricate items for needs outside of the US, however, it is the customers responsibility to set up the logistics of shipping.
The lining required should be called out in the specifications for the job. However, cement lining is typically used for potable/drinking water applications. A ceramic epoxy lining, like Induron’s Protecto 401 or Tnemec 431, is used for sewer application. As for air piping, the ductile should have a bare ID, especially if heat is involved. Glass lining is rarer and more used in conditions where the media is highly abrasive or corrosive.
Cohen will accept any major credit card (a 3% transaction fee will be added), check, or you can apply to set up an account with us for terms if you plan on being a repeat customer. Please fill out the contact form and ask for a credit application to get set up!
We currently have the capability to cut and flange ductile iron pipe from 3” to 64” in diameter. For carbon or stainless steel pipe, we work with pipe ranging from 2” to 120” in diameter. There is no project too big nor too small for us to handle.
OUR process
Whether you know what you’re looking for, need some guidance or just have a set of plans contact us via the contact form or insidesales@cohenpipe.com
We’ll send you a quote for the items requested. If the price and estimated lead time fits your needs, we’ll turn into an order.
In order to ensure your order is correct the first time, we can provide cut sheets or submittals so there’s no question on what is being ordered and that it works for your project. When necessary, our drafters can provide shop drawings to assist in installation and make certain your piping system fits together perfectly.
Once the submittals or drawings are reviewed and approved, we will release the order into the shop for fabrication.
We’ll order in the material required for your order if it’s not in our warehouse inventory. If fabrication is necessary, we do all of the cutting, assembly and painting under our roof.
Once your order’s ready, we’ll coordinate with you on the best method of shipment for your order.
